HIMT INFORMATION SESSIONS
Come hear about the health information management technology (HIMT) degree program for those who prefer to use a computer and work behind-the-scenes in health care, with little or no patient contact. HIMT is a combination of business, science and information technology. Median salary is $39,000 a year! Some students opt to transfer their credits to a four-year institution. Many stay at Lakeland through bachelor's degree programs in the health field offered at the Holden University Center such as allied health, health information management, applied science in allied health, and nursing.
