DENTAL HYGIENE

1. To prepare a qualified dental hygienist who will be successful with respect to Competencies for the Dental Hygienist.
2. To provide competent dental hygiene faculty and staff with relevant work experience to ensure a quality and current educational program.
3. To maintain admissions policies to ensure qualified students.
4. To provide educational support services to enhance the student's ability to successfully complete the program.
5. To provide a curriculum that is current and relevant.
6. To provide a curriculum that is compliant with safety and quality assurance for the student.
7. To satisfy patients with the quality of student dental hygiene care.
8. To maintain an active committee of dental hygienists /dentists from the community to act in an advisory board capacity lending support for the program.
