Join us for four weeks while we investigate the realms of science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM)!
Discover new hobbies and explore favorite topics. Each week will include a variety of STEAM activities while promoting social opportunities and creative outlets. All activities will inspire curiosity, spark imaginations, encourage problem-solving and enrich your child's summer in a safe environment.
Join us as we explore the fascinating world of all things living! STEAM Camp begins with an investigation into biology. Campers will learn all about plants, animals, and the human body through hands-on experiments, creative projects, and outdoor investigations. Along the way, they will build curiosity and confidence as they ask questions, make discoveries, and explore how living things grow, change, and interact with the world around them.
Blast off with us into the exciting world of physics! This week's focus will be on force, motion, gravity, and magnetism! Campers will explore the different forms of matter and how they move, fall, spin, and interact through hands-on activities, experiments, and other challenges. We will work on developing our critical thinking skills while discovering how physics shapes the world around us.
Let's get digital! This week is all about technology! Campers will experiment with simple robotics, age-appropriate coding, and other technology-based challenges to learn how technology can be used for problem-solving. As real-world technology continues to evolve, this week empowers students to imagine, design, and build, aiming to nurture their love of discovery and inspire the innovators of tomorrow.
Our final week of STEAM camp is all about art and innovation coming together! Campers will explore famous artists, art styles, and creative movements while learning how art connects to science, technology, engineering, and math. We will experiment with color, texture, tools, and design while creating our own masterpieces. Let's get creative!
The cost for each week is $265. Sign up for all four weeks or individual weeks. Each week has a maximum capacity of 24 children.
Payment is due upon registration.
One of my favorite things about Lakeland is the CCP program, which is a great opportunity to earn college credit so that I'm able to save time and money in the future. It was great that I was able to earn two degrees while still in high school, so I can earn my bachelor's degree in 2 years.

I loved coming to class to learn about real-life cases that my professors have experienced and the opportunity to go through mock crime scene scenarios. Especially with the recent development of the criminal justice program, I enjoyed "investigating" a "residence", simulating a grave excavation, and lifting fingerprints. It is a bittersweet moment that I will be graduating.
