GEOGRAPHY AND GEOSPATIAL TECHNOLOGY

Lakeland Community College is proud to be hosting our eighth annual GIS Day.  This annual celebration of geographic information systems will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m.—2 p.m. in Lakeland's HIVE and H-building. 

Those joining us for the event will have the chance to view presentations highlighting the use of geospatial technologies in industry, speak with area geospatial professionals, take part in hands-on activities such as a humanitarian map-a-thon and our interactive AR sandbox, and watch drone/sUAS demonstrations.
