The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Program provides management assistance to existing and start-up businesses. This is mainly accomplished through one-on-one counseling sessions. These services are offered at no cost to the client.

The SBDC program is co-hosted by Lakeland Community College and The Lake County Port Authority. The program is also a cooperative effort of the private sector, the educational community, and federal, state and local governments. It enhances economic development by providing small businesses with management assistance.
