ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTER

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Program provides management assistance to existing and start-up businesses. This is mainly accomplished through one-on-one counseling sessions. These services are offered at no cost to the client.

SBDC Services Include:

    • Licenses and permits, forms of ownership
    • Referrals to other agencies
  • Business Plans and Financial Projections
  • Marketing, Sales and Advertising
  • Financing options, referrals to:
    • Local Funding Sources
    • MicroLoans State Programs
    • Small Business Administration Programs
  • Business Assistance Resources Available
  • Start-Up Business Training

The SBDC program is housed at Lakeland Community College. The program is also a cooperative effort of the private sector, the educational community, and federal, state and local governments. It enhances economic development by providing small businesses with management assistance.

The Small Business Development Center of Ohio (SBDC) program is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SBDC program is also funded in part by the Ohio Department of Development.
