Earn college credit while you are still in high school!
Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO)
The Ohio Post-Secondary Enrollment Option program allows students to earn college credits while in high school, all for free. Under this program, students enroll in courses at Lakeland and receive dual credit for high school requirements and for college credit. These credits may be used at Lakeland or for transfer to the college or university of choice after high school graduation. Even books and other fees are covered under this state-funded program.
High school juniors and seniors (or home educated students) who plan to earn college credit which may also be used to fulfill their high school graduation requirements, should contact the Admissions Office.
College Tech Prep is a 2-year college prep program in a technical field that students can select for junior and senior year of high school. It blends academic coursework to prepare for college and high tech applied learning in a technical field in which the student is interested. Students are eligible to earn college credit for their high school coursework for free and can continue their education through an Associate Degree and beyond.
