Information Literacy Instruction

The Lakeland librarians encourage the growth of information literate learners. They collaborate with faculty to meet the needs of a specific assignment or more generally to teach students about discipline-specific resources. Librarians can assist with Information Literacy assignment design. Schedule a library instruction session by completing a Instruction Request Form . Return it by email or inter-office mail to the Reference Librarians.

View the library instruction calendar for available times and dates.

In addition, librarians have created assignment templates that address the Information Literacy Outcome. These are available for you to adapt and use in your classes. Click on the following link for our Information Literacy Templates.
