About

The Great Lakes Lecture Series is supported by a group of partners who are committed to the idea of public discourse about important ideas. These partners are Lakeland Community College, Lake Erie College, Lake Hospital System, and Mentor Public Library, and Morley Public Library. The goal of the series is to promote community learning in Lake County.

The lecture series sponsors speakers and spin-off presentations by members of the community, college faculty, and other professionals from the participating institutions. Typically, speakers participate in a taped interview, then an evening lecture, which is followed by refreshments punch, cookies, coffee, and questions. The series is currently in its third year.

All lecture series events are free and open to the public.

For more information, please contact Professor Mark Guizlo at 440-525-7251, or by e-mail: mguizlo@lakelandcc.edu.
