Yes,
you are required to pass a psychological test. The psychological exam
is not included in the cost of the academy. Students will also be evaluated
throughout the academy.
Am
I required to pass a physical fitness test?
Ohio Peace Officer Training Council mandates physical
fitness standards that must be met prior to the completion of the course.
Applicants must pass a medical examination administered by their own
physician in order to enroll in the academy.
Monday
thru Fridays 8 am-5 pm. Full-Time. Some evenings and weekends.
Do
I need my own firearm?
Yes, 9mm.
Cost
The cost is $3300 plus
a $150 application fee.
Will
I get college credits?
Upon
successful completion of the entire course, you will be eligible for college credit
applicable towards an Associate of Arts Degree in criminal justice and/or law
enforcement.
