Work, home, family, school… life! How does it all fit together? The Accelerated Program is scheduled in a way to assist you in maintaining the balance while earning the credentials you need to advance your career.
Accelerated Degree Program classes are generally scheduled in five week sessions in the fall and spring semesters. This means that the majority of the classes meet once a week for five weeks, typically for a period of four hours at a time. Classes are scheduled in the evenings and on Saturdays.
Students have the option of attending full-time or part-time; the key is finding the best fit for you and your other commitments.
Degree Options available in Adult Accelerated Degree Program include:
- Associate of Arts (AA)
- Associate of Applied Business - General Management
Concentration (AAB)
The content of the courses taught in the Adult Accelerated Degree Program is the same as courses taught in the traditional
format. The primary difference is that an Adult Accelerated Degree Program course has approximately half the amount
of face-to-face class time as a traditional course.
In order to achieve the learning objectives for
each course and account for the reduced class
time, Adult Accelerated Degree Program students have an increased
amount of out-of-classroom work.
