Adult Accelerated Degree Program

Lakeland’s Adult Accelerated Degree Program provides more learning options for adult students that fit your busy life.

It is often difficult to balance home and work, let alone trying to earn a degree. Lakeland’s Adult Accelerated Degree Program schedule makes it easier to maintain the balance in your life while achieving your education goals.

Adult Accelerated Degree Program courses are offered in the evenings and on Saturdays. Most classes meet for five weeks. During the fall and spring semester, there are three five-week sessions allowing students more scheduling flexibility. The schedule has been structured so that it is possible for students to attend full-time or part-time.

Degree Options available in Adult Accelerated Degree Program include:

• Associate of Arts (AA)
• Associate of Applied Business - General Management Concentration (AAB)

Focusing on the ways adults learn best, Adult Accelerated Degree Program courses draw on students’ experiences and provide opportunities to work on project-oriented assignments. Classes are taught in an accelerated format, placing a high degree of responsibility on the student to complete assignments and projects outside of the classroom.
