New
students can enroll by completing an application
for admission. The non-refundable
$15 fee is payable by check, credit card or money order; cash is not accepted
at Lakeland East. Students can also register at Lakeland East for any credit or
non-credit class held at any Lakeland location. Registration can be done in person
or by phone during office hours. Tuition payments can be made by check, money
order or credit card only.
Books may be ordered online
and by phone (440) 525-7124 from the main
campus bookstore and delivered to Lakeland East at no additional charge.

Lakeland
East/West is a wireless campus. Students can bring their own wireless devices
to the
site and access the Internet. Laptops are also available for
student use. To request a laptop, students should see the receptionist. Lakeland Open
Computer Labs
Lakeland Community College requires placement testing
in English, reading and mathematics. The computer-based COMPASS test is now available
at Lakeland
East on a walk-in basis during office hours. Students must show photo identification
and submit an application for admission prior to taking the placement test. It
is recommended that students wanting to take the COMPASS test phone ahead to
ensure availability of the test and to verify the site hours to ensure adequate
time to complete the test.
Telecourse DVDs are available for students to view at Lakeland East
during
office hours. Please call to make reservations at least one day in advance.
Tutoring is available for math and computer use by appointment
during Fall and Spring semesters. Call to schedule an appointment. There are
no tutoring services at Lakeland East for the
summer semester.
