Student Services

Admissions / Registration: New students can enroll by completing an application for admission. The non-refundable $15 fee is payable by check, credit card or money order; cash is not accepted at Lakeland East. Students can also register at Lakeland East for any credit or non-credit class held at any Lakeland location. Registration can be done in person or by phone during office hours. Tuition payments can be made by check, money order or credit card only.

Bookstore: Books may be ordered online and by phone (440) 525-7124 from the main campus bookstore and delivered to Lakeland East at no additional charge.

Open Computer Lab: Students currently enrolled in a credit class may use the open computer lab to access the library, Internet and other software applications.

The lab hours for Spring Semester, 2008 are:
Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 am – 12 noon
2:30 pm – 5:00 pm
7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Lakeland Computer Lab Hours

Placement Testing: Lakeland Community College requires placement testing in English, reading and mathematics. The computer-based COMPASS test is now available at Lakeland East on a walk-in basis during office hours. Students must show photo identification and submit an application for admission prior to taking the placement test.

Telecourses: Telecourse tapes are available for students to view at Lakeland East during office hours. Please call to make reservations at least one day in advance.

Tutorial Assistance: At Lakeland East for Spring Semester, a tutor for Math and Computer classes is on site on Thursdays from 12 noon to 5 pm.
