The Men’s Gateway to College Project consists of three steps:

STEP 1
Assess your career interests. By taking John Holland’s Self-Directed Search, find out which occupations and which educational opportunities best match your personality and interests.

STEP 2
Take a free one-credit hour class (1.75 contact hours per week, for 8 weeks). You can choose from one of the following:

Essentials of Algebra (For those who need a math refresher)

Orientation to College (Everything you need to know about succeeding at college)

Psychology of Effective Study (This is a fun one!)

Introduction to Personal Computers (For the technically-hesitant)

STEP 3
This final step will help you:

• Define an academic program that is right for you

• Answer questions regarding your employability after completing that program

• Find out how much you can earn with a particular degree or certificate
