During winter as fewer photographic opportunities present themselves I have thought about photographing snow flakes to practice some high magnification technique and explore new challenges. This photograph, an image of frost crystals, was taken on my garage window one early, cold morning. I enhanced the contrast and applied some solarization in an image editing program.
