The Fine Arts Association
and Lakeland Community College have formed the Partnership
for Arts Learning (PAL). Working together, our mission
is to advance educational opportunities in the arts
for Lake County and the surrounding communities.
This regional arts initiative will provide people
of all ages in Northeast Ohio the opportunity to
participate in quality, accessible educational
programs and presentations in the visual and performing
arts. Our objectives are to:
• Build awareness and understanding of the importance
of arts education among policy makers, business
leaders, education leaders, parents, and the
community.
• Provide quality arts education from pre-kindergarten
through adult.
• Improve access to arts education by providing
scholarships to students pursuing education in
the arts.
• Encourage participation in arts education and
performance programs that will contribute to
the vitality of the community.

Promote Lake County’s arts education and
cultural programs to area residents.
• Increase public awareness of arts education,
student achievement and faculty excellence in
the arts through local media.
We believe that this partnership will move both
organizations - and the arts - significantly beyond
what we can accomplish separately.
