If you want to talk with someone about how to get
a positive start in college, we have:
- Individual appointments
- Group Information Sessions
- COUN 1001 - Orientation
to College
Counselors are available to:
- Discuss basic skills in Math, Reading, and English
by reviewing scores of COMPASS (Lakeland's Placement
Test) and/or ACT/SAT
- Discuss program requirements
- Assist with appropriate
course selection
- Assess your prior college coursework
- Evaluate
your degree/certificate semester before graduating
- Review college transfer material
- Review the transfer
module
- Offer you COUN 1300 (Skills for College
Success)
