The traditional drop/add form is normally used for an override. | Drop/ Add Form (PDF) |
Students must seek permission from the instructor teaching the course. The teacher has the discretion whether or not to grant an override to a specific student.

Students typically email the instructor to ask for permission and if permission is granted via email, the student brings that email to the admission/registration office for processing. The teacher and/or student can also forward the email directly to the admission/registration office for processing.
The student can also take the drop/add form to the teacher's office and ask for permission.
If the override is granted the teacher signs the form and the student returns with the form to the admission/registration office ( Building A, Room A-1002 ) for processing.
The teacher can also grant an on-line override directly on a student's account, so that they can register either on-line or in person. All of the other options require the student to come to the admission office for processing.
Lakeland does not have wait lists. Students are registered on a first come first served basis.
