Alumni Hall of Fame was established in 2006
to recognize Lakeland alumni and their accomplishments.
The induction ceremony is held each year
to honor those individuals whose achievements
can serve as a testimony to future Lakeland
students. |

The
Lakeland Alumni Association Committee established
the following criteria for Alumni Hall
of Fame nominations:
- nominees must
be graduates of Lakeland Community College;
- nominees must
have graduated at least 10 years prior
to the nominating year;
- nominees must
have a strong record of community involvement;
- nominees must
demonstrate an ongoing commitment to Lakeland
and to the values it represents.
In 2006,
the initial class was inducted into the
Hall of Fame. The 2006 inductees included:
- Morris W.
Beverage, Jr., President of Lakeland Community
College;
- Dana Dennis,
Vice President and Corporate Controller
of Parker Hannifin Corporation;
- Dale Fellows,
President and Owner of Morgan Litho and
Eagle Advertising;
- Richard Hennig,
Law Director for the City of Mentor;
- Donna P. McNamee,
Writer, Editor and Laketran Board of Trustees
member;
- Kip Molenaar,
Director of Administration & Finance
for the City of Mentor-on-the-Lake; and
- Diane Tusek,
Founder and President of Guided Imagery,
Inc.
The 2007
inductees were:
- John Hambrecht,
Training Manager of the Lincoln Electric
Company;
- Richard Harvey,
Fire Chief for the City of Mentor; and
- Susan
Tullai-McGuinness, Assistant Professor
at the Frances Payne Bolton School of
Nursing at Case Western Reserve University
