Weekend College classes are generally scheduled in five week sessions in the fall and spring semesters. This means that the majority of the classes meet once a week for five weeks, typically for a period of four hours at a time. Classes are scheduled on Saturdays.
Students have the option of attending full-time or part-time; the key is finding the best fit around other commitments.
Weekend College Degree Options
The content of the courses taught in the Weekend College is the same as Weekend College courses taught in the traditional format. The primary difference is that an Weekend College course has approximately half the amount of face-to-face class time as a traditional course. In order to achieve the learning objectives for each course and account for the reduced class time, Weekend College students have an increased amount of out-of-classroom work.
