ATTENTION
Offers students the opportunity to maintain a connection with
Lakeland facilities and support services without leaving the campus
and obtain a Bachelor's Degree.
Lakeland Community College and Cleveland
State University partner to bring several Cleveland State degree programs
to the Lakeland campus. Through this partnership, Lakeland students
are able to transfer seamlessly into these programs and complete the
degrees close to home.
Lakeland graduates who transfer to Cleveland
State have the same rights and privileges accorded students who
began their initial studies at
Cleveland State. This includes equal opportunity for registration,
financial aid, scholarships, and advising, use of the University
Library and recreation facilities, and participation in student
activities.

This program requires students to complete
Lakeland courses in general education and business at Lakeland Community
College and complete approximately 47 credits of upper division business
courses from Cleveland State University. The Cleveland State University
courses will be offered on Lakeland's campus.
Students can complete 64 semester credits
for the Associate of Arts (AA) degree following the degree plan available
through the counseling center. Students complete additional "bridge" courses
at Lakeland and then take 47 semester hours from Cleveland State
University.

Through its partnership with Lakeland,
Cleveland State’s Nance College of Business offers a Bachelor
of Business Administration degree in Information Systems on the Lakeland
campus. The program is comprised of three phases: an Associate of
Arts degree through Lakeland, which includes general education and
introductory core business courses; a bridge program – also
taken through Lakeland – that provides prerequisite work for
advanced study in Information Systems & Technology, as well as
an accessible package of IS courses that permits one to pursue employment
in the field immediately; and an upper division program, offered
by Cleveland State that rounds out the major and core business areas
of study.

As an Organizational Leadership major,
you will develop the skills necessary to be an effective manager
in our global economy. You will enhance your problem solving skills
so that you can promote positive organizational change. You will
learn management concepts that can be applied in the public or private
sector. There are three concentration areas available. A concentration
in management or urban studies is available in the CSU/ LCC Partnership
Program. Communication is the third concentration area; however most
courses will be taught at main campus. This degree program is a joint
venture of the Levin College of Urban Affairs, the Nance College
of Business Administration, and the School of Communication.

Through its partnership with
Lakeland, Cleveland State’s Engineering Technology
Department is offering a degree leading to the Bachelor of
Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET). Students
may complete coursework equivalent to an Associate of Applied
Science (AAS) degree in mechanical engineering technology
from Lakeland Community College. Academic advising is available through Lakeland’s Counseling

Cleveland State and Lakeland have developed
a degree program designed especially for those employed in the field
of public safety – law enforcement, fire, corrections, emergency
preparedness, etc. The program leads to a Bachelor of Arts in Public
Safety Management (Executive).

Cleveland State University is now offering the RN to BSN program
online to accommodate busy work schedules. In order to achieve the
BSN students must meet the educational requirements of Cleveland
State University and the College of Education and Human Services.
Students who have completed Lakeland's RN program are eligible. Students
who have taken courses at other colleges or universities must have
their transcripts evaluated for possible credit toward these requirements
at Cleveland State.
Cleveland State classes are offered on the campus of Lakeland
Community College. Please note that students enroll in the program
as a cohort
group every other year. Students are encouraged to complete not
only prerequisite courses but also general education requirements
while waiting to enroll in the nursing sequence.
