A 250 word personal statement is required to apply for scholarships. Please attach the statement to your application form.

Lakeland Community College and The Lakeland Foundation are offering thousands of dollars in scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year.  To apply for these scholarships you must submit a scholarship application and a 250 word personal statement by the priority deadlines listed below:

Priority Application Deadline March 31. Applications are accepted throughout the year.

Scholarships are available for all programs of study and for full or part-time enrollment. While some scholarships are based on financial need, there are many scholarships available based on particular fields of study or the city of residence. Students need to complete only one application to be considered for any of the scholarships offered through Lakeland.

Applications may be obtained at the Financial Aid Office or you may complete the application on-line by visiting the Financial Aid forms page. If you wish receive an application via mail, please call 440-525-7070, and we will mail the application to you.
