The Customer
Services team provides a Help Desk service on campus for all college
employees for PC, printer, network, Internet, Banner, telephone
and voicemail problem reporting and service needs, and to students
for myLakeland, distance learning and student email issues. Help
is provided for applications, software, hardware and system problems
that may require repair or installation support.
The Help Desk is accessed by dialing 5112 from
within the college and 440.525.7570 from
off campus during the hours of operation
listed on
the left. In addition, voicemail service and email service are provided
so problems can be reported 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Critical
after-hours callers are instructed on the voicemail message to call
the Campus Police Department at 440 525-7241; they call the designated
on-call
staff member. Non-urgent problems can also be reported via e-mail to lcchelpdesk@lakelandcc.edu.
The Help Desk provides training classes to employees, based
on a needs analysis from Help Desk calls.
