Distance Education
is a formal educational process where the majority of the instruction
occurs when the student and instructor are not in the same place; instruction
may be synchronous or asynchronous. Distance Education may also employ
correspondence study, as well as audio, video or computer technologies.
Here at Lakeland, Distance Education reaches students utilizing telecourse
programs, online courses and teleclassroom courses.
If you are a student interested in Distance Learning, please check
out the Distance
Learning info site.
